The Weizmann Institute of Science, located in Rehovot Israel, is one of the leading research institutions in the world and has produced groundbreaking, innovative work and shepherded the ideas of multiple Nobel laureates. Katz Architecture was asked by their US-based fund-raising arm, the American Committee of the Weizmann Institute, to make some strategic modifications to their New York office within a limited budget to project more of a modern, brighter personality with multifunctional spaces. Work involved modifications to existing elevator lobby, reception area and conference room, and included extensive audio-visual work, new conference room lighting, display walls, floor finishes, signage, and furniture.
