Figueroa Exhibit

El Museo del Barrio is a hidden gem among New York City museums, dedicated to preserving the art and culture of the Latin American community. The museum's collection includes over 8,000 objects, and it consistently hosts some of the most engaging and thought-provoking exhibitions in the city. Katz Architecture had the honor of collaborating with El Museo, Televisa Foundation, and Salvador Quiroz to present the exhibition "Under The Mexican Sky," which celebrated the life and work of renowned Mexican cinematographer Gabriel Figueroa.

Despite an incredibly tight timeframe of just three weeks, the exhibition was completed on schedule and received high praise for its presentation, including from New York Times critic Holland Cotter. Katz Architecture is proud to have been a part of such a meaningful and successful project.
