Metro Bicycle Relocation
Goal:
With seven shops, Metro Bicycle is the largest retail bike shop chain in Manhattan. When asked by their landlord to immediately relocate one of their shops from a building about to be demolished they contact KATZ to assist.
Process:
The new space, though larger and brighter than their previous location, required mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, fire alarm, lighting and finish work. Serving as liaison between landlord and tenant, KATZ negotiated construction agreements, provided design, filing and engineering coordination services.
Result:
The process moved with speed and the client rolled into their new space on time and on budget.
Moral:
Avoid falling debris.
